Chapter Summary Sheet

On the day BEFORE a chapter test (and before the final exam), a single, hand-written summary of the chapter is to be turned in.  Each section covered should be present and summarized with the main idea of the section, new formulas, and vocabulary.

·            Note sheet turned in on time: 4 pts,  <-1> each day late
·            Notes on a single page (front and back)--HAND WRITTEN:  1 pt
·            Organized and neat:   1 pt
·            Notes on all sections are present:  1 pt
·            All Formulas present:   1 pt
·            Key Ideas denoted:   1 pt
·            New vocabulary noted and defined:   1 pt

Final Summary Sheet (PreCalculus)

Similar to the Chapter Summary Sheet, on the day BEFORE the Final Exam, a summary of the semester is to be turned in. Each Chapter covered should be present and summarized with the main idea of the Chapters and formulas.  Examples are allowed.  

·            Note sheet turned in on time: 4 pts,  <-1> each day late
·            Notes on a single page (front and back), HAND WRITTEN:  1 pt
·            Organized and neat:   1 pt
·            Notes on all Chapters are present with formulas:  4 pts

Final Summary Sheet (AP Calculus)

There will be two summary Sheets due for the final--one for the Multiple Choice and one for the Free Response.  

MCQ Summary Sheet material:     Factual Knowledge:
  • Formulas, Unit Circle, PreCalculus topics, examples, etc.
FRQ Summary Sheet material:      Anything that helps with Interpretaion of FRQs:
  • Vocabulary, Key Phrases, Tips on FRQ Partial credit,


·            Note sheet turned in on time: 7 pts,  <-1> each day late
·            Notes on a single page (front and back), HAND WRITTEN:  2 pt
·            Organized and neat:   1 pt
·             Appropriate notes on all material
